CAP Series
CAP20
The CAP-20 thin-film inductive encoder is an inductive angle encoder designed using a non-contact electromagnetic induction principle based on wireless power transmission technology.
The product consists of a stator and a rotor. After the stator is powered, it wirelessly transmits energy to the rotor and senses the rotor's electromagnetic field. The rotor does not require its own power supply; it receives energy from the stator in real time and applies it to the coils to form a regular electromagnetic field.
The product uses a dual-track design to achieve absolute angle output. There is no contact or friction between the rotor and stator. The stator integrates angle calculation circuitry and employs proprietary technology to achieve low power consumption and integrate multiple high-speed digital interfaces.
Both the rotor and stator are annular thin-film hollow structures. The large hollow structure facilitates the passage of shafts, cables, and other components. During use, the stator and rotor must be installed coaxially and parallel to facilitate energy transfer and electromagnetic field induction between them.
The product does not include bearings, and no coupling is required during installation, eliminating precision installation requirements. Because inductive encoders do not contain ball bearings, glass code disks, light sources, or other components, they can achieve highly reliable angle measurements even in harsh environments.
SENSNA's thin inductive encoders are widely used in medical, defense, aerospace, industrial automation, and robotics applications.
